This block is used when creating an events archive page on your site for easily viewing all events that took place in a specific year. A list of years (as links) is output, allowing visitors to click a year to filter the list of events displayed in a separate Events List block.

This block is only appropriate if you have events that took place over multiple past years. If you don't, it's not useful to use this block.

Example Use

1. Create a page with a 75/25 layout section and call it "Events Archive"
2. In the larger section, add an Events List block
3. In the smaller section, add the Events Archive Years List block
4. Save the layout

Observe that clicking each year link in the events archive years list block reloads the page and filters the events list block to only display events that were published in the selected year.

If the Events List block is configured to output a title, the year will be appended to the title to help indicate that the results are being filtered.

Note that if there are no years to display, this block will hide itself automatically.
