The image block is used to embed a single image in a page layout.

There are several options available when adding this block:

• Select one existing image from their media library or upload a new image, or select multiple to have a random one displayed to visitors. Up to 10 can be selected.
• Choose which aspect ratio to output the image as (e.g. wide, square, portrait, etc).
• Select a size.
• Select an alignment.
• Toggle the display of the image caption (if the image has one).
• Optionally link the image to another page on your site.

Images will typically expand to the full width of the layout section you place them in. Exceptions are when outputting images using a landscape, square, or portrait aspect ratios, where the images may not fill up the entire area.
