Share, Print, and Email Links

The Share, Print, and Email Links A collection of features or functionality that can be enabled on sites. WDS has made several optional modules available to site administrators to enable on their site. For example, the "News" module enables the News content type and provide a News List Block for displaying news on a page. allows you to display sharing and print links on the detail page of various content types. This can be helpful for visitors that want a quick and easy way to share a page they're viewing. The links typically appear below the page title as such:

Supported link types include:

  • Facebook
  • X (Twitter)
  • LinkedIn
  • Email
  • Print

Content types that support displaying these links include:

  • Page
  • Course
  • Event
  • News
  • Person
  • Post
  • Resource Link

Enabling & Configuring Module

A site admin can visit Configuration > System > Modules from the admin toolbar. Click the Enable button for the Share, Print, and Email Links module in the table.

After enabling, the module must be configured to select the specific link types that should appear and on what content types:

After configuring, you can verify the links appear by visiting a A individual item of content. For example, a page, a news article, and an event are all content items, which correspond to the Page, News, and Event content types, respectively. from any of the content types you've enabled this feature on.
